December 4, 2012 : The Belgian TV show Starter was looking for new ideas of business to develop for its second season. Ebuco, the production company organized a preselection of the candidates in 5 big cities in the French-speaking part of the country. They have installed a TweetWall in the hallway, where candidates where waiting to meet the jury. Mateusz Kukulka, Community Manager at Ebuco, explains why having a Twitter wall was important.
What was your event?
We used TweetWall Pro during 'the Starter Tour' organized to select candidates for the tv show Starter. The show will be broadcasted on the RTBF during the Spring 2013.
What is your job?
Social media manager & Community manager for Ebuco.
What did you expect from the Twitter Wall?
As part of the filming, we wanted to put emphasis on social networks. A tool such as TweetWall Pro's, one of the world leaders, became oubviously needed for our events.
How did the audience react?
Those who did not know were surprised, other were happy to join in. Our partners took advantage of it to Tweet. The persons who Tweeted were mostly attending the event.
Our events were rather serious. The Tweets followed that trend. We have published Twitpics but no candidate did.
Do you think Twitter walls might be usefull in your field?
Working in the audiovisual production, we will be more and more willing to integrate social networks in our work. We will certainly need a tool such as this one.
What did you think of our service?
I chose TweetWall Pro because I know this company from the beginning; but most of all because we got an offer that we could not decline. The tools seems more and more efficient and more and more steady.
